Eligibility

The COMLEX-USA Examination Sequence

Candidates for COMLEX-USA must meet the following requirements as well as the requirements of their college of osteopathic medicine. Examinations must be taken in sequence and each level passed before the candidate is eligible to take the next level.

Level 2-CE and Level 2-PE may be taken in any order.

 

COMLEX-USA Level 2-PE
  • Passing of COMLEX-USA Level 1
  • Completion of the second year of study at an accredited college of osteopathic medicine (COM)
  • Attestation by the COM that the candidate is in good academic and professional standing
