Please note that the COMLEX-USA Level 2-PE has been suspended.
On the scheduled examination date, plan to arrive at the selected NBOME National Center for Clinical Skills Testing (NCCST) at least 30 minutes before the scheduled session to check in and complete the registration process. Candidates should anticipate heavy traffic on the way to the center and plan accordingly.
The high-stakes nature and complexity of this examination allow little flexibility with regard to unforeseen delays. Late arrivals risk being unable to take the exam and forfeiting a significant portion of the registration fee. Prior to the examination day, students are encouraged to watch the video below, as well as to read the COMLEX-USA Level 2-PE Orientation Guide.
What To Bring
Photo ID
One form of current government-issued photo identification (license preferred) and a printed confirmation page or email as proof of the examination date and time are required. Candidates whose identifications do not match their registration form will be considered a “No Show” and will be responsible for paying the appropriate administration fee to reschedule.
Dress professionally
Wear a white lab coat.
Standard Stethoscopes
Only standard stethoscopes are permitted. Your stethoscope may not contain anything identifying a school or association. The NBOME staff will provide you with a loaner stethoscope if needed during the onsite registration process. Alternatively, you may bring your own plain stethoscope. All other diagnostic equipment will be provided.
Testing Accommodations
Candidates with disabilities, including hearing impairment, should refer to our application for testing accommodations.
